On the occasion of Independence Day, LGU students and staff accompanied by Vice President Dr. Pierre El Khoury, visited the naval army commandos in Amchit base on November 21, 2016.

Students viewed a documentary about the commandos regime before moving around the base and participating in a “rappel” and “Tyrolean” descent, and sea touring in a zodiac.

LGU then presented a trophy to Commander Mohamad Al Mostafa in recognition of the bravery and sacrifice the whole commandos regime is displaying to serve Lebanon.

We salute every commandos member and thank them for this unique day.
