Minister Bou Assi launched the opening ceremony of LGU NGOs Fair 2018
Social solidarity is enhanced by government efficiency and the contribution of institutions and organizations.
The Lebanese German University, in collaboration with the Pastoral Committee of Social Work at Jounieh Diocese, organized NGOs Fair 2018 on the occasion of World Day of the Poor under the patronage and in the presence of HE Deputy Pierre Bou Assi, Minister of Social Affairs; Monseigneur Louis Boueiry, representing Bishop Antoine Nabil Andary, Maronite Patriarchal Vicar of Jounieh; Mr. Roger Adaimi, Vice President of Jounieh Municipality as well as a host of academic and public figures. Biomedical Technologies Department Achievement
Another achievement for LGU’s Biomedical Technologies Department. Congratulations to Joseph KHATTAR and Carla ZEINE for having their paper “Implementation of a Monitoring System that Notifies Healthcare Providers of a Sudden Medical Emergency Occurring to a Driver” accepted in a book entitled “Vital Signs: an Overview”. The book is edited by Dr. Roy ABI ZEID DAOU, Head of the Biomedical Technologies Department at LGU, and Professor Josef BOERCSOK, Chairperson of the Computer Architecture and System Programming Department at Kassel University. The book is published by Nova Science Publishers.
