"The Department of Performing Arts at LGU"
The Department of Performing Arts at LGU is proud to announce that three short films made by Sami Naoum, Nour Akiki, and Chritelle Nicolas as well as one made jointly by Charles Moukarzel, Aline Mouawad, and Mary Nachef have been selected for the 8th NDU International Students Film Festival (Nov. 9-16). Our students will be competing with local and international universities. We wish them good luck!

The first three short films have been made by Sami Naoum, Nour Akiki, and Chritelle Nicolas and the fourth jointly by Jad Moukarzel, Aline Mouawad, and Mary Nachef .

Biomedical Technologies Department Achievement
Another achievement for LGU’s Biomedical Technologies Department. Congratulations to Joseph KHATTAR and Carla ZEINE for having their paper “Implementation of a Monitoring System that Notifies Healthcare Providers of a Sudden Medical Emergency Occurring to a Driver” accepted in a book entitled “Vital Signs: an Overview”. The book is edited by Dr. Roy ABI ZEID DAOU, Head of the Biomedical Technologies Department at LGU, and Professor Josef BOERCSOK, Chairperson of the Computer Architecture and System Programming Department at Kassel University. The book is published by Nova Science Publishers.
