New students registering at LGU should sit for an Entrance Test in French, English, or Math depending on the major they choose, or take a creativity assessment test if they are applying for the Performing Arts major. These tests allow the University to evaluate their level in the subjects they are tested on and decide whether they need certain remedial courses.
The following charts explain how new students are placed in remedial language classes or exempted from them according to their potential scores on the Entrance Test. They also explain how students are evaluated if they already hold a score in TOEFL, SAT, IELTS, or DELF. They display outcomes for students who have taken the Entrance Test with accurate score ranges.
